Learn once, benefit forever.

My SQL courses take experienced developers a leap forward.

SQL Courses in Autumn: Register now!

My five-part online SQL training round starts in less than two weeks. Now, that SQL is en vogue again and evolves rapidly due to the latest standard as well as many new products, developers must not fall behind.

My proven online SQL trainings update and deepen existing SQL know-how. The first module, SQL Reloaded (staring Sep 10th), puts the foundation and philosophy of SQL onto a new basis. The modules Analysis and Aggregation (in October) and Recursive Queries (early November) introduce these topics and deepen them far beyond the usual teaching examples. The module Data Consistency (in November) is not limited to constraints but puts a focus on the challenges of concurrency. The training round is completed by the SQL Performance Explained (in December), which is my bestselling training for more than a decade. This makes it clear: The value of SQL trainings is not voided by the next technology hype. Learn once, benefit forever.

Even though the modules build upon each other, they can be booked individually if the participants bring the required prior knowledge. The group size is strictly limited to four participants. That’s the only way to get into deep discussions from which even developers with decades of experience can benefit. Further details including the prices, the exact dates and the registration form are on my website winand.at.

Groups of three or more participants can book private trainings for your company. In that case the dates as well as the language of instruction (English or German) and the training databases can be agreed upon individually.

Do not hesitate to contact me directly (markus.winand@winand.at) for any questions—the sooner we start, the longer you benefit.

SQL Renaissance Ambassador

As the SQL Renaissance Ambassador, it’s my mission to make developers aware of the evolution of SQL in the 21st century. My book “SQL Performance Explained” has been published in five languages and can be read online free of charge at use-the-index-luke.com. My next book is currently in the works and can already be read online as it’s being written (modern-sql.com). I am available as a trainer, speaker and consultant for all companies and developers interested in SQL. You’ll find more info at winand.at.
